Bought my last car here. Mike, the sales rep, was friendly, polite and didn't force himself to come along on the test drive - he let us go by ourselves so we could talk honestly and openly. Paperwork went quickly and was good to go. A bit of haggling over the trade-in value on our old vehicle, but that's normal when dealing with a dealership. The car was detailed and ready to go when promised. Their service team also had cleaned off some surface rust from the trailer mount and painted it with black rust paint - I was definitely surprised by this! Mike also helped me with pairing my phone with the car's uConnect system which was nice, and unexpected. About a week after getting it, the check engine light came on. Because they are a small dealership, they have extremely limited hours, especially on weekends, to bring the car in. I had to take some time off work to drive the car down to the dealership, but they replaced the faulty O2 sensor within 30 minutes and I was on the road again. We're now about 2 months in to the new car and it's been driving great. Thanks again, I would definitely come back as the car we bought was the most competitively priced one we found after months of searching, and we even got some additional detail such as it was a one-owner vehicle and a partial service history. Bought a used truck from Mike & Dave over the phone based on pictures that were on autotrader. Drove all the way from Belleville to pick it up on Saturday not sure if everything would be as we discussed or if there would be some surprises. Everything was perfect. I'm so thrilled with my purchase. It was exactly as we had discussed, no strange surprise fees on the bill, no pressure to take strange add on features. The truck is exactly what I was looking for at an amazing price. Best car buying experience ever!
I think for most people, venturing into a car dealership can be intimidating. It makes sense, it's a process that most of us do a handful of times in our lives, and we realize that we have no real idea of how the process of a vehicle purchase really happens. For myself, I don't really like being in a position of "being at the mercy" of a process I don't understand, so to say that I approached the thought of a car purchase with a large dose of cynicism would be correct. This was my second purchase from Grimsby Chrysler, and I was happy with my last purchase, obviously seeing as I returned to purchase another vehicle. This time was different, I left my purchase experience feeling less like a customer, less like a sales number and more that I have a dealership I can work with in the coming years, and grow with as my vehicle needs change. Derrick and Lisa left me feeling that they were working on my behalf, that it wasn't just about making a sale. Honestly, the best experience ever... I just wish I had space to park more vehicles, so I could do it all over again.
Was a great experience. Very honest feedback for what we were looking for. They were more interested in making sure I had the correct vehicle for me. We ended up purchasing a Pacifica Hybrid (which is an absolutely fabulous van and a great drive). Mike went through various options and scenarios with us and we ended up getting the hybrid version to take advantage of the credit. He even explained how we could save in other ways. The follow up was also excellent. Got updates on where the car was in the process. How long. How to use the features. etc. It was a great experience.
